REGION OF EASTERN MACEDONIA THRACE

Synergia

The target of this action is the food sector producers of processed products and the service sector (hotels, catering, leisure) to meet and synergy, to consume local products and to make use of local services, in order to highlight the local products (agriculture, fisheries and breeders), the particular flavors presented separately in the professional kitchen of the region especially during the tourist season, in order to  increase the internal regional consumption and employment and generally to improve the residents' quality of life in Region of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace.

An additional target is the real support of local businesses, the excellent local products of agriculture, breeders and processed (mainly food and beverages), for the development of the regional economy and the influx of funds.

REMT’s intention is to stimulate producers, formulators of local products, leaders’ hotel markets, managers of large catering units, the super market distribution networks in pre meetings, thus creating a cooperation network promoting and reaching agreements between SMBs and the REMT's local producers. Business-to-Business (B2B), depending on the interests and needs.

Region of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace facing the need of business contact with each other, throughout the REMT and as part of its policy for shaping intraregional consumer awareness and financial solidarity between individuals and government, took initiation of actions aiming products conjugations of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace with the wider travel industry, hoteliers, the dining and entertainment areas and mainly their consumption communities. It is desirable to know each other, productive sectors, locally produced goods and services, to win together, help shape, but also to become ambassadors of Thracians - Macedonian Kitchen enjoying excellent local dishes and delicacy.

In "SYNERGIA" are organized parallel events including: Presentation – exhibition of locally produced products (not merchandiser and represented). Presentations - updates Academic, Enterprise Advisors and Researchers of good practices, to promote intra-regional cooperation , through business creation strategies benefit businesses but also consumers of the Region. Day conferences exchanging of views, foundation of intra-regional business cooperation and networking of production and presented samples of food offered to the public by the Thracian-Macedonian Kitchen.Predefined meetings, Business to Business (B2B), stakeholder - involved producers, local products formulators, local processors manufactured goods, businessmen and managers of hotels and markets of large caterers and supermarket distribution networks.In the exhibition participate companies implementing innovative systems and production methods of their products, giving a special interest in the report. It was attended by about 120 companies and significant was the number of enterprises which offered their products to the public exposure due to the inability to participate.

Region' s food database was enriched. The quality and competitiveness of regional businesses were highlighted and economic activity of the Region was screened / promoted in the agri-food sector . Achieving the agri-food sector with supermarkets co - business agreements , and catering facilities . Creation networking cooperation.
Public effect was significant and valuable, both in quality, regarding the information diffusion apart from the production sites and in quantity, since recorded buying interest the day of exposure was beyond the expectations of the organizers.

Region’s project is multifaceted and its obligation is any initiative and practice, that launcher, promotes and seeks social responsibility of both parties and not as previously only from a business perspective .Social responsibility, consists mainly of the relations of the enterprise with the external environment and this environment with "ΣΥΝΕΡΓΕΙΑ -SYNERGIA». Region of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace, wishing to show businesses and to highlight the particular characteristics of each area, managed to make the “SYNERGIA” institution of REMT, which was implemented for the second year and will continue with the next event in Kavala’s department.
