The Drama Environmental GIS application (existing application in sustainable greece 2020 initiative), has been intergraded into a Environmental WebGIS Portal, enabling apart from the environmental authorisation data, crowdsourcing procedures and multiple webGIS services(apps) in the framework of public administration of East Macedonia and Thrace Region.

The integration has been implemented in order to enable the consultation by public and administrative units in the procedure of expanding the Ecological Network Natura2000 in East Macedonia and Thrace Region. This is managed using innovative, crowdsourcing and webGIS oriented tools.  

1. Decision support tool that is characterised by intoperability and cooperation between ministry of environment and participants.
2. WebMap creation. Easy access to dynamic web map applications.
3. Tranparency in public datasets. Open data grew into open services.
4. Quality and accuracy during decision support procedure.

Furthermore the following goals continue to apply:

      5. Desicion support tool for enviromental authorization and evaluation on enviromental impact assesment process.
      6. Availability on the field during enviromental control and evaluation process.
      7. Web application for enviromental information sharing (open data) for: administrators, citizens, researchers.
      8. Decrease of authorization service time, credibility and integration during decision taking process.

This WebGIS Portal is accessible during the last 1,5years. The Natura2000 sub-application is accessible during the last 20days. The WebGIS portal will continiously be integrated with new services.
