"Pediatric Trauma Care" is a non-profit, non-governmental organization whose sole purpose is to raise awareness on children's accidents in Greece, reduce their number and severity and to improve care.

Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) and Paediatric Life Support (PLS) Seminars which are organized by A.P.L.S. HELLAS, are designed to train medical personnel in treating the most common pediatric incidents that could threaten the children’s lives. ‘’Pediatric Trauma Care’’ helps finance these seminars, thus significantly reducing the cost of participation for doctors, nurses and also Ambulance Paramedics.

From 2000 until today.
We finance partly the Paediatric Life Support seminars held for nurses every year and the Advanced Paediatric Life Support seminars held for doctors and surgeons. We also finance a special program every year for Ambulance paramedics. The training focuses on assessment, resuscitation and the stabilization of the child.
To date 2.078 doctors and nurses have attended these seminars.

There is no paid staff. The seminars are performed by volunteers doctors-educators.
