Description

With the aim of enhancing the provision of health services in the Greek islands, Alpha Bank developed a new social contribution programme called "Together, for better health", which involves the donation of pharmaceutical supplies and medical equipment. The programme was first launched in 2014 and is carried out in collaboration with the Civil Non-Profit Company “AGONI GRAMMI GONIMI”. The first phase of the Programme, carried out from May to July 2014, started with the island of Tilos (30.5.2014). This was followed by Nisyros (3.6.2014) and Leipsoi (5.6.2014), with Kasos (1.7.2014) being the Programme's last port of call for 2014.

The Programme’s second phase continued with the islands of Patmos (19.2.2015), Symi (25.2.2015), Astypalaia (12.3.2015) and Karpathos (20.4.2015). These were followed by Chalki (15.10.2015), Leros (22.10.2015), Kalymnos (4.11.2015) and Kos (5.11.2015), marking the Programme’s conclusion for 2015.
