Objective Action

PAEGAE take resolute steps by publishing for the first year the Social Responsibility Report with regards to the actions that has implemented throughout 2015. The report aims to inform the stakeholders about our commitments and performance on the issues involving corporate responsibility and sustainability.  By issuing annual corporate responsibility reports the transparence of the company is increased while we provide essential information on the impacts of our activities to the environment and the society. In our first report we present the progress made during the 2015 and our goals for the next years. 

 

Target Audience

The Corporate Responsibility Report of PAEGAE provides information to all stakeholders such as shareholders, customers, employees, suppliers, unions and bodies, NGOs, the state and society. 

 

Duration

The Corporate Responsibility Report of PAEGAE covers the period from 01/01/2015 to 31/12/2015. A trade repository has already been put in place with the purpose of continuing the action in the next years. 


Description

All actions of PAEGAE during 2015 with the purpose of reducing the impact of our company in the main areas of the sustainability framework as well as the goals to be achieved in the next years were collected and are presented in the Corporate Responsibility Report of PAEGAE. In the context of better planning and managing of the corporate responsibility actions, PAEGAE has formed a CSR Unit comprising of experienced in the fields of corporate responsibility executives who represent the core units and departments of PAEGAE.  PAEGAE is the first Greek company in the sector of 3rd Party Logistics that has published a Corporate Responsibility Report. This is an innovation by itself that places special emphasis on the management of environmental impacts, on the actions for awareness-raising of its employees as well as on the contribution of the company to the society by means of a series of actions. 

The report complies with the international reporting standard GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), the 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact and the criteria of the Greek Sustainability Code (Sustainable Greece 2020). The report is based on the guidelines of the GRI-G4 version and covers the level of application “Core”, complies with the 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact and meets the criteria of the Greek Sustainability Code at the level “B”.

Impact on Society

Through creating and reporting on indicators of responsible business, PAEGAE is committed towards the stakeholders to operate on the basis of principles of transparency and corporate responsibility. The additional benefits ensuing for the stakeholders are the following: 

  • providing the necessary information to the shareholders under transparency 
  • presenting goals and results  
  • enhancing the dialogue with the stakeholders by fostering new cooperations and partnerships with bodies that will contribute in developing sustainable solutions.

All of the actions with regards to reporting on Responsible Business indicators are realized in the premises of PAEGAE at Magoula, Attica.

The members of the CSR Unit of PAEGAE who represent the core units and departments of the company participated in the making of the report.
