Realizing the difficulties of the times and believing in social sensibility of citizens, both of producers and growers, the goal of  Department of social services of our municipality is to supply the additional agricultural  production to our citizens that are  in need around our municipality. This can be fulfied by the contribution of local farmers, producers, Agricultural Associations Societies  and volunteers.

Socially vulnerable groups who need our support and help during a difficult economic period for our country.

Almost all over th year, due to open vegetable cultivation and cultivation in greenhouses.

Trifylia is a vast plain with high quality and excellent agricultural production. According to international surveys, about 30% of agricultural production remains untapped because  it does not meet the strict requirements of wholesale on the appearance of the product  or due to the high harvesting costs in relation to the expected profit. Meanwhile 1.3 tons of global food ends up in the trash, when 863 million our fellow people  are suffering from starvation. Our Municipality builds social bridges by supplying  the additional  agricultural production to those citizens that ara in need. Growers, producers, agricultural associations - societies notify us for a free of charge distribution of their additional production.   Several  municipal clerks and many volunteers participate at the harvest, packaging, transport and distribution of agricultural products (tomatoes, lettuce, green beans, etc.). There is a direct  distribution of them. We find quite useful even ths smallest offered quantity. It is so important if you can fill with it table of a  family. It is an innovative model of exploiting  the additional  agricultural production, according to  universal values, such as  solidarity, offering, love and voluntarism.
