PEDIATRIC TRAUMA CARE

The program aims to inform children, parents and teachers on Trauma Prevention in order to reduce the number of injured children. It has been proven that education on proper and systematic prevention can reduce the number and severity of children’s accidents significantly.

From 1998 until today

We visit schools and talk to children, teachers and parents on how to prevent accidents from happening. Our experience has shown that 70% of the children have not heard what we are discussing in the room. For greater benefit, after the events, we hand out brochures to be read by the children, as well as their siblings and parents. These brochures address: "Safety at home", "Safety at school", "Prevention of burns", "Safety during sports", etc.

Greece. Our brochures about trauma prevention are very important for the education of children and their parents and we distribute them to Hospitals, Schools, and other Associations and Charities throughout Greece.     

To date we have spoken to 57,007 children and 3,508 teachers and parents.
