For years ELVE has been working hard to reduce waste for both organizational and economic reasons.
While businesses, communities and individuals have long recognized the human impact on our environment, it is relatively recent that the globe has acknowledged the urgency to change our ways in order to sustain our planet, for future generations to enjoy as we do
Environmental sustainability that has to be enforced on practices and decision making, in order to have an impact on all 3 environmental dimensions: physical, biological and social.

DIMENSIONS OF ENVIRONMENT
Physical Environment
From 2011 onwards, ELVE has been investing dynamically in the field of renewable energy sources. ELVE’s current energy capacity stands as followed:
5 solar energy parks, with a total power of 5.3MW, with a total production of 7.500.000 KwH corresponding to 5,5 tons of carbon dioxide emissions exempted from the atmosphere, per year.
According to the US EPA metrics this equates to the Co2 emissions of 844 homes' electricity use for one year
The company is currently in the licensing process in order to install more photovoltaic plants and therefore increase its clean energy production.
Biological Environment
ELVE has been fully aligned with the existing environmental legislation. The materials used for the manufacturing of our products, wehn applicable, are free of harmful to the environment substances
We have been recycling paper, plastic, fabrics and electronics separately
In accordance to our no-waste philosophy, in 2020 we minimized our paper usage by 10%
Social Environment
Because quality is our priority, our materials are chosen with the outmost care, our products are free of any harmful substances to the user (when applicable, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified) and our manufacturing partners hold numerous accreditations proving their social and eco-engagement.
In cooperation with our trusted partners, we are offering to our clients the choice to get exceptionally eco-friendly products, manufactured under the MADE IN GREEN label
