GENEROUS School (GENEROUS Knowledge, Nutrition, Sports)

The modernized Program "GENEROUS Knowledge" is an initiative of GENESIS Pharma, which aims to strengthen schools in critical areas of our country with new portable computers. Our goal is to make every student have access to an electronic computer - so that knowledge reaches even the most remote school in our country.

Students from schools in remote / remote areas of Greece (kindergarten to high school)

The program has been running since 2010. It was renewed – upgraded in 2018 and continues with the aim of the knowledge reaching as many remote schools as possible and benefiting as many children as possible – the future is in their hands.

With the "GENEROUS Knowledge" Program, our company continues a long-term commitment, undertaken since 2010 (with the "Let knowledge fly" Program), to support schools and libraries in critical areas with (used) computers and books.

The Program is not limited to computers. It includes enriching school libraries with educational, scientific and literary books, new or used, in good condition and aimed at children of all ages. It also offers educational technological material, where necessary, such as interactive whiteboards (it is possible to carry out interactive activities in the classroom in public view, with the participation of all children) and touch screens, where with the help of the teachers, this technology is integrated with a correct / effective way in class. This year, through the program, students enjoy online robotics courses, which the company provides in collaboration with a specialized teacher.

In the past, the Program was implemented in collaboration with the non-profit organization Euroscience. Now, communication with the agencies (Schools, Municipalities, Parents & Guardians Associations, School Committees) is done directly by the company.

Employees can participate in the GENEROUS Knowledge program.

Remote areas of Greece - Barren line (eg Kastellorizo, Telendos, Tilos)

To date, through this specific Program, 1,800 children from 21 critical islands and mainland areas have benefited. By mid-October 2019, 75 more children from 2 schools on the islands will have benefited.

In parallel with the achievement of our commercial goals, at GENESIS Pharma we undertake Corporate Responsibility initiatives and actions in order to constantly strengthen our positive footprint. Our goal is to offer to society as a whole and vulnerable social groups.

Increased brand prestige and positive reputation could be considered a benefit for the company.

A socially responsible business resonates more with the public. Adopting CSR practices increases the firm's ability to attract capital and business partners. A survey by the Envoronics International CSR Monitor (2001) showed that the factors that most influence the public's impression of a company are social responsibility at 49% and brand quality/reputation (40%).
