Global health, Sustainability, Safety and Quality week

Our dedication to health, safety and wellness is evident in our low workplace incident rates, offering of health screenings and other preventive health practices within our Global Health Initiative. We offer support to our associates and their families through comprehensive benefits and services, including health and welfare benefits, financial security and income replacement programs, and resources to help balance work and family life.

In Tupperware we embody a culture of health and safety through our policies that ensure safe working conditions for our associates and our suppliers’ workforce. We proactively encourage healthy lifestyle choices for our employees.

Also we are dedicated to informing associates about safety, health, sustainability and quality. For this reason, the company organizes theme weeks.

The aim of this action is to inform all employees on health, safety, sustainability and quality issues, to develop cooperation among employees so that we can all together achieve better results in terms of safety, quality, health and sustainability, as well as reward employees for their participation in the theme weeks and the individual activities of each theme week.

From 2000 until today,the week of safety, health and quality takes place. From 2010 until today, the sustainability weekend was added.

Tupperware Hellas aims to educate all its associates on issues and actions which take place in the company.

For this reason Tupperware implements  every year Global health, Sustainability, Safety and Quality weeks.

Each theme week includes information, education and happenings from external partners such as doctors, nutritionists, safety specialists etc.

Furthermore, each department present actions according the relevant week, the points that are being developed successfully as well as those that need improvement.

During these theme weeks, associates have the opportunity to participate in various activities such as tree planting, health examinations, recording new ideas in order to improve their work conditions and improve the work environment.

At the end of each theme week, all associates answer on the questionnaire which is relevant on the subject of the week, then there are three winers of them who answered right the questionnaire.

Tupperware offer a gift to alla associates who participated in the theme weeks.

From 2000 until today, over 3000 associates have attended these educational and informative theme weeks.

All employees and subtractors of the partners (Subcontractor employees working in the company) are informed during the safety week how to work safely at work, in the week of health are informed about their health through various examinations, such as pressure measurements, carried out in the company, also are informed about the quality of the products, if the necessary procedures are carried out with right way and aim at the excellent quality of Tupperware products and finally contribute to the environment through various activities carried out during the course of the sustainability week.
