The support of the rations in the wider area of Greece, in order to cover the feeding needs of needy families and the support of those of our fellow human beings facing significant livelihood problems.

Vulnerable groups, associations and organized groups

The "Offer to the sissities" program was the reason for the creation of the Network and has been an integral part of its action since its foundation in 2013.

The purpose of the proposed action is to provide assistance to the community groups by offering basic necessities and basic materials in order to use them in meals that will be distributed to families in need. The proposed action provides for the relief of social groups with very low, if not any, income who are forced to resort to social gatherings for basic needs. Distribution is done on a consistent and regular basis. Through a categorized list of rations per prefecture, and after the needs of the rations have been mapped, basic necessities, raw materials, personal hygiene items, etc. are delivered.

The Network collaborates with Lidl Hellas in order to expand this specific action in the prefecture of Attica and to support institutions and organized groups there as well.

The action was set up by the administration and is implemented by the Network team.

The Network, through this specific action, supports associations and intermediate bodies throughout Greece.

Beneficiary group: all age groups who participate in the social gatherings and are really in need.

About 2,070 people have benefited from the program and they are registered in the 15 communities we support.

Further development of the responsible profile of the Network, connecting the Network with the local community and with the rest of the areas it supports through its action.
