KPMG Global Cyber Day

The aim is to educate students of various age groups about the importance of cyber security and the dangers of the internet

The program is aimed at children between the ages of 7 and 16

The program has been ongoing since 2018, constantly training more and more students

Throughout October, KPMG cyber security professionals are helping students, teachers and parents raise awareness of cyber security issues through educational presentations delivered either in the classroom or via distance learning. The Global Cyber Days program focuses on topics including social media, online identity protection, cyber bullying, online gaming, and online threats that can affect school-age children. and teenagers in their daily lives. Our programs can teach students valuable lessons about their online safety and ways they can protect their personal data online.

Greece

KPMG in Greece conducted the program led by Dr. Theodoros Stergiou, Deputy General Manager and Head of Cybersecurity Advisory Services and their presenters Nikos Anagnostopoulos, Supervising Senior Advisor, Vasiliki Makrygianni, Senior Advisor and Nefeli Christia, Advisor in the same department. Despite the timing of the COVID-19, the “KPMG Global Cyber Day” managed to inform more than 1400 students about cyber security during the European Cyber Security Month, thus breaking the previous record of 960 students for which the company was awarded at the Hellenic Responsible Business Awards to 2019
