We march forward for sustainable hospitality with innovative ways of managing water, energy and chemical consumption. We aim to provide high quality services meanwhile staying true to our social responsibility ensuring ethos and transparency in all our operations. Our mission is to recycle 100% of the garbage we produce, go 100% green and leave zero footprint on the environment to ensure a better planet that we all deserve.

Achievements

• Production of drinking water by the method of reverse osmosis and recycling of the produced water by 100%.
• Replacement of all electrical lighting equipment with 25,000 LED lamps.
• Recycling program and results:
  • 106,798 kg of cardboard - paper
  • 33,083 kg of plastic
  • 201,227 kilos of glass
  • 16,558 kg of metal and aluminum
  • 540 kg light bulbs - electrical equipment
  • 334 kg batteries
  • 6,545 kg of oils - fats
• Gradual replacement of mechanical refrigeration and air conditioning equipment with environmental criteria and ecological coolants.

Investments

• 23.5 million euros in facilities & equipment modernization focusing on sustainable development.

• Three-year plan of 100 million euros for the complete upgrade of our 17 complexes and
  services.

The green agenda is an integral part of Mitsis Hotels operation. Our path to sustainable development is evolving day by day through open dialogue with all stakeholders within our corporate environment. At the same time, the gradual transformation of our hotels’ operations to ensure the preservation and protection of the natural environment and our constant contribution to the local communities empower our responsible corporate citizenship.
