In this context, Protergia, the Electricity and Natural Gas Division of MYTILINEOS, supports and promotes the adoption of green and energy-efficient modes of transportation, with the two new services Charge Home Complete & Charge Business Complete. Through these services, integrated and simplified electric mobility solutions are offered, making it accessible to everyone and facilitating the transition for every driver, by covering all the steps for their smooth integration into the new transportation market.
More specifically, through the new Protergia Charge Home Complete service, complete equipment and management software solutions are provided to the driver of every electric vehicle who wishes to recharge their car at home or business, with full support at every stage. At the same time, through the products provided, individuals and professionals are given the opportunity to effectively manage the energy they consume to charge their electric vehicles, overcoming the obstacle of limited power availability found in most domestic and small business installations in Greece.
In addition, with the Charge Business Complete service, integrated electrification solutions are offered to partners who wish to electrify their fleet and join the new mobility market smoothly and quickly, starting from the assessment of business requirements and expectations, proceeding to the study and resulting in the proposal that combines the appropriate equipment, with a complete package of services, aiming at the continuous operation of the charging stations, their proper maintenance and their maximum utilization by the company. In addition, Protergia, cooperating with reliable brands of electrification solutions, offers tailor-made services adapted to the needs of each business for more flexibility and convenience.

Protergia, through the Charge Home Complete service, enables private individuals and professionals to effectively manage the energy they consume at home, apartment building or business to charge their electric vehicles.
The products provided are accompanied by additional functions to automatically adjust the power between chargers and loads of the building and avoid additional costs of increasing it. In addition, they allow remote and automatic management of charging needs as they arise and the distribution of power to a group of charging stations in the same facility to avoid overloading the network.

Mobile Connectivity
For updated and synchronized data in real time, through the offered charging management platform MyWallbox.
Charging Scheduling
For remote programming of starting and stopping charging at any time, with the possibility of exploiting the night tariff as well.
Power sharing
Power sharing, sometimes referred to as load balancing or load balancing, allows the grid operator or businesses/apartment buildings with multiple installed chargers to distribute the available power of their installation proportionally to all electric vehicles charging at the same time. Since available power is limited in any facility, requiring more power than available on a frequent basis results in costly upgrades to electrical infrastructure. However, with power sharing the power can be optimally distributed to each installation in order to avoid such upgrades.
Power boost
Power Boost, also known as peak shaving, is a smart charging feature that prevents the user from exceeding the maximum available power of their installation. Reaching or exceeding the maximum available power is preferably avoided, as it entails additional charges from the energy provider for the use of excess electricity than planned. Power Boost helps to avoid similar situations by dynamically balancing the load between the charger and the rest of the devices in the house. More specifically, when it becomes clear that the maximum available power of the installation is being approached, the intelligent charging control system automatically reduces the amount of energy consumed to charge the electric vehicle. It can even stop the charging session completely until the required amount of power is available again.

With notification, in case of detection of leakage in the current for safer use.
Furthermore, through the Charge Business Complete service, Protergia offers complete electrification equipment, management and service provision solutions, tailored to the needs of each company electrifying its fleet, thus reducing the emissions of air pollutants produced by conventional fuel vehicles.
At the same time, the services are accompanied by the Green Certificate, assuring that for the electricity consumed and represented by Protergia, an equal amount of energy has been produced by production facilities using Renewable Energy Sources, thus achieving a zero carbon footprint in transportation. Today, more than 50 Protergia corporate customer charging points nationwide contribute daily to the reduction of air pollutant emissions and their operating costs.

Supply of charging stations
With a choice between various models of AC and DC charging stations with a wide power range.
Installation and test run
With an inspection of the site by a technician before installation and an assessment of the needs for the connection of the equipment and charging devices, their control and test operation.
Charging station management services
With customer access to management and monitoring services, ability to download monthly usage reports, remote control, diagnosis and software update of chargers, as well as technical maintenance of the stations in case of breakdowns.
Green Certificate
Which constitutes MYTILINEOS' assurance to the customer that for the electricity consumed and represented by Protergia, an equivalent amount of energy has been produced by specific electricity production facilities using Renewable Energy Sources and/or High Efficiency Cogeneration Electricity and Heat Systems (Guarantees of Origin ).

Protergia, in collaboration with the Municipality of Athens, proceeded to donate the delivery, installation and connection to the electricity distribution network of 19 electric car charging stations, with the aim of creating 25 publicly accessible recharging points in the Municipality of Athens, within the framework of the "Adopt your city".

Domestic market
Starting from MYTILINEOS itself, a plan has already been prescribed to electrify the company's fleet and create a capable electric mobility infrastructure to meet the needs of both employees and visitors to its points of activity. More specifically, to date, a large number of functional charging stations have been installed at the company's offices in Marousi and Heraklion, Attica, while it is expected that by the end of 2022, the installation of more than 80 additional charging stations will be installed at all of its operations in Greece for the needs of its fleet.
Accordingly, the installation of 10 fully functional charging stations in the building facilities of the Olympia Group group has already been completed, allowing 34 of its employees to charge their electric vehicle every day and contributing to the reduction of the company's carbon footprint. Considering the September 2021 data, where more than 950kWh of green energy was consumed at Olympia Group's charging stations, we can easily estimate an avoidance of more than 4.5tn CO2 / year.
In addition, with the electrification of the fleet and the conversion of the energy required for charging into kilometer coverage, another 5.5tn CO2/year/vehicle is added, further strengthening the pro-environmental attitude of companies that adopt actions related to electric mobility.
At the same time, it is worth noting that with the electrification of the fleet, operating costs are estimated to be reduced by €1,700 / year / vehicle, just from transportation costs, comparing them with those of conventional diesel vehicles. Also, taking into account the reduced maintenance costs, which are five times as much in purely electric vehicles, the profit increases significantly.
Today, the impact of Protergia Charge Business Complete is enhanced by the complete procurement, installation, commissioning and management of charging stations at more than 50 electrified fleet charging points for corporate customers nationwide, which are growing daily.
Additionally, with the comprehensive provision of the Protergia Charge Home Complete service to more than 100 customers, the contribution to an annual fuel saving of 190,000 lt of oil/year and a corresponding reduction in gaseous pollutant emissions by 550 tn CO2/year is estimated.
