The promotion of the natural environment through the activation of all the associations of the area and citizens as well as the creation of the conditions for the development of a network of 12 paths in the Municipality of Agia that can be visited throughout the year which will contribute to the development of walking tourism.

The duration is 3 years with the possibility of time extension.

The Municipality of Agia, having a large number of paths that extend across the two mountains, Kissavos and Mavrovuni, created an action to adopt 12 paths. He sent an invitation to participate to institutions, associations and citizens with the object of protecting and preserving the paths and highlighting the natural environment. Everyone's enthusiastic and immediate response was the cornerstone of the "Trail Adoption Pact", which defines the obligations and commitments of both the participants and the Municipality. The participants voluntarily undertake tasks of maintaining and highlighting the respective path they adopt, ensuring access to it throughout the year. Educational, environmental and sporting activities are carried out with the participation of clubs and citizens with the aim of strengthening volunteerism and solidarity that contribute decisively to the sustainable development and promotion of the natural environment of the region.

The action takes place on a network of trails that stretches across the mountains of Kissavos and Montenegro.

At least 12 paths have been adopted by institutions and individuals for 3 years with the aim of preserving and promoting them. By undertaking a path, both individuals and members of organizations come into direct contact with the natural environment, learn to respect and protect it, while at the same time highlighting it as a place for exercise, education, solidarity, cooperation and social sensitivity. In the actions they already have took place at least 300 volunteers participated.

Through the adoption of paths, the Municipality of Agia managed to gain the active participation and voluntary contribution of a large number of citizens, residents and non-residents of the area, as well as the activation of a large number of associations for the benefit of the natural environment and the path network. Through volunteering and the realization of common goals and visions, the natural wealth of the Municipality of Agia is highlighted, it becomes accessible to everyone and at the same time social cohesion and solidarity is strengthened.
