The company Theofilos Chalkiadakis S.A. – CACTUS HOTELS, as part of its corporate social responsibility, supports, communicates and cooperates with local businesses and the local community with the aim of protecting local culture and traditions as well as protecting the environment. The company's CSR is directly linked to the business operations, towards the achievement of Sustainable Development guided by its vision, mission and values. The approach of the UN's Global Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 (SDA - Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs) is an opportunity as well as a challenge for businesses. The point today is to move from theory to practice. Cactus Hotels has committed through the establishment of corporate social responsibility to contribute in this direction by integrating social and environmental actions into our business practices. On an annual basis, the company's sustainability report is drawn up, which reflects the degree of achievement of the goals set and measurable results as an assessment of the year, but new goals are also set for the following year. The philosophy of Cactus is the concept of sustainable development, and cooperation and social dialogue naturally contribute to this.
