Here children can learn the basics of the road traffic code since the relevant markings will put them in the mood from a young age.

As our little ones grow up and learn about the world around them, they slowly begin to become independent and move around on their own, until one day we see them behind a wheel or on a bike and our heart skips a beat. The traffic education for children comes to introduce Lilliputian citizens to the traffic and safety rules of the road network, so that when they reach driving age they have been nurtured with the right practices.

The role and presence of the voluntary team of our Municipality is always at the forefront. So also in this action, our group of volunteers with enthusiasm, consistency and passion offered their services in the coordination of the whole process.

The traffic management park is located within the Model Family Park of Agia Paraskevi in the Municipality of Hellinikon-Argyroupoli.

Children discover experientially:

• Correct traffic behavior
• The correct behavior of drivers and pedestrians
• To understand what the pedestrian crossing is for and how they should cross the road
• To get to know some basic provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure
• To find out what they should watch out for as pedestrians
• To identify the points that need special attention in order to move safely as passengers either in the car or on public transport
• To learn the signs that determine the appropriate stopping/parking areas.

The essential role of the Local Government is fulfilled which, among other things, is the provision of quality, modern and responsible education.
