Voluntary social contribution campaign "Solidarity, Action for Life"

The aim of this particular action is twofold: On the one hand, to raise awareness and encourage the involvement of INTERAMERICAN's employees – of administrative staff and sales networks alike – by collecting food and, on the other hand, to support vulnerable social groups (the poor and the homeless) under the care of the Reception and Solidarity Center for the Homeless of the Municipality of Athens, to whom the food was distributed.

Primarily, the INTERAMERICAN employees and secondarily, the poor and homeless of the Reception and Solidarity Center for the Homeless.

The campaign launched and is implemented continuously since 2012.

2014 was the third year in a row of the campaign of the voluntary social contribution "Solidarity, Action for Life" of INTERAMERICAN's employees. The awareness of the business society – of both the administrative staff and its associates of the sales network – yielded 2.5 tons of long self life foods that were distributed during Christmas, primarily, at the Reception and Solidarity Center for the Homeless of the Municipality of Athens. Since the outset of the campaign (2012), INTERAMERICAN's employees have distributed foodstuff amounting to a total 8.2 tons to social agencies of Athens and other regions (Thessaloniki, Chania, Heraklion, Patras) where the company has an established presence.

Administrative staff and Network Associates

Since the launch of the campaign (2012), INTERAMERICAN's employees have distributed foodstuff that amount to a total of 8.2 tons to social agents of Athens and other regions (Thessaloniki, Chania, Heraklion, Patras) where the company has an established presence. It is estimated that 95% of the employees participated in this campaign.

For INTERAMERICAN, volunteerism is a fundamental value for the development of social culture. The Company, being a small society wishing to progress creatively for the benefit of the common good, builds its corporate culture upon the volunteerism of its people through the "Volunteers for Life" Group that was set up in 2010.
