Bioaroma Crete is committed to following the standard of sustainable development, producing natural products in such a way as not to reduce but to improve the productive capacity of plants and enhance biodiversity.

For its new image, the company chooses innovative biodegradable materials derived from renewable raw materials (wood shavings, natural resins, sugarcane) for the packaging of its products, thus fully protecting the environment and enhancing plant growth.

In addition, it uses natural energy sources to promote the future quality and balance of the environment. More specifically, for the distillation process, it uses pellets produced by the company itself after the cold pressing of the organic grape seeds, while the vegetable remains of the distillation become compost that is used as a soil conditioner on the company's farm.

Also, the Company implements educational programs, through which children and young people are invited, outside the walls of a schoolroom, to receive a life lesson, about the environment, themselves and others under the shade of olive trees, the aroma of herbs, the chirping of birds and the tranquility that nature offers. In the educational programs special reference is made to the biodiversity of Crete, focusing on Cretan herbs, their therapeutic properties & uses with knowledge that originates from the Minoan era and the folk tradition of Crete. In addition, there is an emphasis on concepts such as sustainability, renewable energy sources and recycling which are now explained and applied experientially through the participation of children & young people in the entire production process from the field to the final product. The aim of the above action is to share our dreams for a healthier planet by adopting sustainable lifestyles while fully respecting the right to survive on this planet.

Bioaroma Crete, drawing inspiration from the educational programs and strongly feeling the need to spread the rare herbs of Crete, which are an integral part of its cultural heritage, proceeded to write a fairy tale entitled "Heroes of Nature" depicting the heroes in the eponymous series of children's, organically certified, "PHYSIS' HEROES" products housed in packaging made of ecological, environmentally friendly materials. In this fairy tale the natural world takes shape and thus herbs, flowers, fruits and even insects are transformed into heroes living in a parallel world. Their role so far is to protect us by handing us all their weapons. But climate change poses a huge threat to their lives, prompting the heroes to rally and take action against this man-made threat. The endemic herbs of Crete in the first issue of the fairy tale will play a major role in dealing with the threat.
