Objective Action

Expansion into new categories that are sources of revenue is imperative in the technology retail industry as classic product categories such as smartphones are maturing, while others tend to disappear. The global Wellness & Fitness trend now has a visible effect on the sale of related technology products in Greece as well, creating a visible opportunity for the GERMANO brand.

The aim is to connect the GERMANOS brand with the global trend of "fitness & wellness" by offering technology products that help in better health and emotional balance and of course to create a success sales story through the promotion and promotion of relevant product categories (e.g. wearables, action cameras & sports accessories) or other indirectly related categories (such as Mobile phones, Wireless charging, etc.)

Our presence throughout the 2-3 days of the events is:

  • with dominant branding (displaying the GERMANOS logo through the organization's branding materials) with the aim of connecting the brand with the sport of triathlon and
  • creation of 2 dedicated set ups that are hosted in a premium area of the event (multi-thematic "tents")

In addition to the presentation at the triathlon events, 360° communication was designed and implemented with the aim of (a) connecting the brand with Triathlon, (b) creating awareness that the brand and technology helps us to include exercise in our daily lives, but also improve our performance and (c) display and promote products related to the Wellness & Fitness trend.

 

Target Audience

GERMANOS supports the effort of athletes and non-athletes to adopt a healthier lifestyle and exercise with the help of leading technology products, such as smartwatches, smartbands, action cameras & sports accessories, making their lives better.

A-C, 18+ athletes and non-athletes, with a relatively higher economic, social and living standard

We participate in top trisports events as a strategic partner, we offer worth-living experiences for fitness & well being to our audience, through special activities, both for athletes and visitors!

How; Connecting top technology products with health and emotional balance!

In the specially designed areas of GERMANOS, the public can, through experiential activities, come into contact with technology and a more active lifestyle. At G FITNESS AND WELLBEING HUB, specialized instructors introduce visitors to yoga, pilates, yogilates exercises and present nutrition, tech & fitness seminars, as well as life coaching. At the same time, at the G TECH SHOWROOM, visitors get to know and test advanced technology products, such as smartwatches, smartbands, action cameras, scooters & sports accessories, while the Tech Experts, the specialized consultants of GERMANOS, offer support for the correct use of the products. In addition, exclusive offers and contests awaited those who visited the GERMANOS "tents".

The GERMAN with the motto every heartbeat counts "listens", supports and is close to the local communities where, through experiential-multi-thematic actions, it helps to awaken their sports consciousness, to adopt a more healthy and active lifestyle and to come into contact and acquaintance with technology products that help with better health and emotional balance. Top technology products such as smartwatches, smartbands, action cameras & sports accessories are available to athletes and non-athletes to record their sports performance, assist them in training, measure their heart rate and monitor their fitness so that they can their lives better!

Our help and patience in this effort, the connection with the triathlon events and the institution TRIMORE Multisports TOUR.

The institution TRIMORE Multisports TOUR, is a series of events that it now plans in selected-distinctive regions of Greece for its beauty, contributing to the tourism development of the country, in parallel with the constant effort to highlight the values of sports to young people mainly, but also to the older ones athletes of all levels. With the motto Live More, it encourages people of all ages and genders, to try, to try, to enjoy participation, to explore, to get in touch with nature, to meet people with common interests, to stay active with sports, to have fun.

This year the institution is characterized by the strong interactive presence and support of GERMANOS.

In total, in 2019 we will be active in 3 internationally renowned triathlon events with 2-3 days of multi-thematic actions and promotional actions:

These are internationally renowned triathlon events with global exposure for both XTERRA and TRIMORE events as well as ISOMAN. XTERRA is a leading international event that attracts a large number of accomplished athletes from all over the world and is being held for the 7th time in Greece. ISOMAN International brand comes to Greece for the first time, represented by TRIMORE Multisports TOUR and in collaboration with GERMANOS, ISOMAN presented by Germanos was presented for the first time, in Kastoria, in the context of TRIMORE Multisports TOUR - Kastoria 2019, on 21-23 June, in sprint distance!

Workers Participation

GERMANOS practically supports the employees of the OTE group who want to compete, taking over the cost of participating in the ISOMAN competition presented by G. Relevant internall comms have been made to 2500+ employees. The name of the "team" (employees) that will participate from now on in GERMANOS triathletes has also been defined

The name is G fighters and they are "equipped" with small triathlete give aways.
