Objective Action

At TITAN, we have a tradition of synergies that promote the implementation of social and environmental actions, with the aim of raising public awareness of contemporary challenges, as well as meeting the needs of the less privileged groups of our society.

This was also the character of the initiative of the TITAN factory in Efkarpia Thessaloniki and of the HANTH, which jointly designed and implemented the "COUNT YEARS - COUNT ACTIONS" program.

Description

Action 1

As part of the program, which was implemented in October 2021 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of H.A.N.Th, the action "MEASURE A BASKET" took place, where young and old had the opportunity to test their abilities in basketball . Each basket was included in the contribution of the C.A.N.Th. and Titan for supporting the Greek Children's Village in Filiro.

Action 2

In December 2021, under the umbrella of the joint program, the 5th Voluntary Blood Donation took place at the facilities of the A.N.Th. with the cooperation of 20 organizations and the support of the AHEPA & "AGIOS PAULOS" Blood Donation Centers and the "ORAMA ELPIDAS" Association.

Action 3

Donor of plants to schools in Thessaloniki, to the health and administrative staff of the AHEPA, Papageorgiou and Papanikolaou hospitals, as well as to the residents of the city.

Impact on Society

Action 1

3,000€ were collected and donated to the Hellenic Children's Village in Filyros from the action "WE COUNT BASKETS"

Action 2

118 units of blood were collected from ordinary citizens, members of the Boards of Directors of the social organizations co-organizers of the action and their volunteers, a group of volunteer blood donors of the TITAN Efkarpia factory, coaches, athletes, as well as representatives of the state and local authorities.

Action 3

More than 25,000 plants were distributed to 50 schools in Thessaloniki, to the health and administrative staff of the AHEPA, Papageorgiou and Papanikolaou hospitals, as well as to the residents of the city.
