A specialized occupational health team of the Organization, together with a specialized mobile medical unit, conduct visits to children homes to provide support;

  • Social and psychological support of children with health problems and their families
  • Creative employment for children
  • Training of the child's caregivers (parents or guardians) by the specialized team for the safe stay of the little patient at home
  • Telecommunication (regular & in case of emergency) of the patient's parents or guardians, with the team and vice versa
  • Scheduled visits of a doctor, nurse, physiotherapist at home
  • Overall management and continuous reassessment of multifaceted problems and their evolution, through good coordination and continuous communication of all parties involved in the care of the child, aiming at the best quality of life for the family
  • Transfer and hospitalization of the patient to the hospital where he comes from, regardless of on-call, in case of need
  • Prescription of medicines and preparations for the young patient and psychological support for the family

The medical needs of children vary. The group doctor determines the frequency of the necessary visits to the children participating in the program. In the same spirit, the synthesis of the psychosocial group which visits the child each time, is differentiated.

If the conditions allow it, the team visits children, while some members remain in the hospital and stay next to the children participating in the program. The frequency of visits is determined by the course of children's health and the medical needs that may arise.

The program has at its disposal and mobilizes whenever needed;
