Objective Action

Our goal is to awaken the buying consciousness of our fellow citizens, so that they can make their purchases in the local market, thus promote the economic prosperity and development of our city. With the creation of a strong local market, we expect the creation of jobs, the strengthening of small and medium enterprises but also the necessary awareness of entrepreneurs to offer, the citizen of Kallithea, quality products at affordable prices.

 

Target Audience

To the entrepreneurs of the local catering market, the shopkeepers of the closed (covered) market of our city.
Local consumers (citizens - citizens) of the market, tourists - commercial visitors.

 

Duration

"I Love My Local Market" is organized every year in  May and usually has a three-day duration. The large participation and interest in the institution may be a criterion for extending the duration of the events.


Description

The festive events include tastings, exhibitions, treats, music, while for this year the "hunt for hidden flavors in the streets of Kallithea" was organized.

This is a game in which shops of gastronomic interest of the city participate, each of which will offer gifts to the winner who will solve the corresponding puzzle that will be set by the store.

Impact on Society

The participation of consumers in the events that took place in the closed market of Kallithea was great and their buying interest was intense during the three-day festive period.

The emergence of the local catering market (Tzitzifia fish taverns - taverns of Pontian and Russian cuisine) has a medium-term goal and is not immediately measurable.
