Objective Action

The pandemic has highlighted the critical role of connectivity. This is also the reason why it is important to have national infrastructures that ensure it in order to speed up the bridging of the digital divide. When there is no infrastructure, there is no connectivity and inequalities are created.
WIND to live up to its long-standing commitment to provide equal digital access to everyone regardless of where they live, so that inequalities are not created between those who have a connection and those who do not.

Description

The critical importance of digital connectivity in everyday life was demonstrated during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our business has played a key role in the drive for smoothness as distance learning has become a reality through connectivity.
WIND responded immediately to the request of the Municipality of Anafi to provide unlimited data to the teachers and students of the island, so that they can cope with the obligations of their courses, through distance learning.
WIND "stayed close" to the remote island of Anafi and supported the island's school community by offering a free connection to its network throughout the lockdown.
