Objective Action

With the main focus on the protection and preservation of Metal Health of our children and the reduction of bullying incidence in any circumstance, the company Th. C. SKAGIAS SA implemented an initiative / action on "LIVE WITHOUT BULLY WITHOUT BULLING" with a positive response not only for children but also for parents and the school community. The aim of this action is to inform, raise awareness, utilize and develop actions aimed at preventing school violence and bullying, of all those involved, ie the school, the family and the Academic community. In the context of this idea, the company Th. C. SKAGIAS SA supports the LIVE WITHOUT BULLING initiative, contributing to acknowledging and educating students and teachers, through the inner dividing pages of the subject notebooks, presenting messages about the action "LIVE WITHOUT BULLYING"  which is presented  in spiral notebooks by SKAG.

 

Target Audience

The action "LIVE WITHOUT BULLYING - LIVE WITHOUT BULLING", is addressed to students, teachers and the entire Academic community.

 

Duration

Production of subject notebooks, is carried out systematically at the premises of SKAG - TH. K. SKAGIAS SA from 2017 until today and will continue uninterrupted for the coming years.


Description

In the inner dividers of spiral subject notebooks of SKAG that are distributed,  encouraging and reminding messages are contained, dealing with bullying LIVE WITHOUT - LIVE WITHOUT BULLING, as well as, all the contact details in case of necessary intervention.

Specifically, information is provided for the immediate transition to the official website www.livewithoutbulling.com and referral to their pages on social networks, and easily accessible by young people and anyone interested.

Impact on Society

The active participation, contribution and cooperation of all those directly and indirectly involved in the phenomenon of school violence and bullying. Through the daily use of SKAG spiral subject notebooks, a means of communication and constant information is created about the phenomenon of school bullying and violence. It is understood that abusive behaviors are not acceptable and there is the possibility of reporting and seeking help. At the same time, victims of bullying receive encouraging and motivating messages in order to realize the situation they are in, to speak with courage and to receive immediate advice and instructions to cope.



Initiative Location

From the beginning of 2017, all inner divider pages of subject notebooks that are produced and will continue to be produced in the premises of SKAG - TH. SK SKAGIAS SA contain messages of  "LIVE WITHOUT BULLYING - LIVE WITHOUT BULLING") initiative.

 The distribution and sales of notebooks was done nationwide by the sales department and specifically by the 10 Area Managers (Sellers) of the company throughout Greece. SKAG's distribution to cover the school year begins every May and is completed by the end of September in 2,500 bookstores and stores.

Working with Organization

The implementation of this initiative was carried out by the Marketing and Sales Departments of the company, without the cooperation of a third party.


Workers Participation

The initiative was developed by the management and implemented with the help of teams from the Marketing Departments on both sides, ie 3 people from the company (graphic designers and marketing people) and from the marketing department and the graphic designers of the organization. The people involved participated with great enthusiasm in the company's effort to design comprehensible graphic messages in combination with the use of appropriate slogans aimed at raising awareness against the phenomenon of school bullying and violence.

Benefits for Οrganization

Through the development of this action, Marketing and Sales teams were given the opportunity to seek information about the phenomenon of bullying and to develop and designs with catchy messages to address a current problem of the school community, which is the main recipient of the company's products. The purpose was not to simply list internet links and messages, but to approach students with fun graphic messages that they would be appreciated (eg balloon, cell phone graph, etc.) and  sent immediate with optimistic messages.
