With several years of active activity in matters of Corporate Social Responsibility and with personal care and love for people, he turns his gaze towards education and training intensively adding innovative models of cooperation with Academic institutions to the framework of his actions, with the aim of sustainability and sustainability.
The CEO of the Aldemar Resorts Group, Mr. Alexandros Angelopoulos, makes sure to spread to the new generation, who constitute our bright future and continuity, the concept of Sustainability and the role played in the Greek economy by its main growth sector to date, hospitality, which is the fuel for many of its main industries, such as the primary sector, manufacturing and construction.
With great passion, in his effort to make the above concepts fully understood and to be heard in society, Mr. Angelopoulos comes to bridge the gap between entrepreneurship and education by entering into collaborations with educational institutions (public/private) by organizing and intensively carrying out the following actions:
A) Hands on Lectures in educational programs by him and other senior executives.
B) Funding of research and work in postgraduate programs with real issues that concern the business as well as the tourism industry and continuous monitoring and assistance in their preparation.
C) Taking on the role of mentor to groups of young people who dare to venture but also to students who are looking for their professional rehabilitation.
D) Collaboration with Universities to present lectures on Sustainable Development and Entrepreneurship. In particular, he is a lecturer in the postgraduate course "Sustainable Development in Tourism & Local Government" of the University of Piraeus.
Ε) Adoption of field trips to the premises of the company with the aim of allowing the students to fully understand the procedures and operation of a hotel unit of the size of the Aldemar Resorts Group.
F) Since 2020 he is a member of the Advisory Committee at the universities:
1. Athens University of Economics and Business
2. University of the Aegean
3. University of Peloponnese
to reshape the syllabus in undergraduate programs to meet modern requirements.
G) While since 2018 it has been creating the Aldemar Academy, where it hosts students with the aim of informing them about the activities and professions offered in the national business ecosystem of the Hospitality Economy.
