The aim is to provide practical support to the fire-stricken settlements in the areas of Mati and N. Voutza with the donation of inert materials for their flood protection and the donation of trees and plants for the aesthetic improvement of the daily life of the residents.
The public to whom this practice is addressed includes the residents of the areas of Mati and N. Voutza, as well as the local authorities of these areas.
The duration of the action is determined in April 2019
With its strong commitment to support Greek society over time, the HERACLIS Group offered plants and trees to residents and businesses in Mati and N. Voutza that were affected by the devastating fires, with the help of the Residents' Coordinating Committee - Mati Attica and the Athletic Association N. Voutzas "PROODOS"
Confirming once again its adherence to the principles of responsible entrepreneurship and sustainable development, the Group contributed to the environmental restoration of the two settlements with shrubs, fruit trees and other large trees suitable for their regeneration and protection.
More specifically, hundreds of families in these areas had the opportunity on the weekend of April 13 and 14, 2019 to receive shrubs, fruit trees and other large trees suitable for the reconstruction and shielding of the fire-damaged settlements.
At the same time, LAVA SA, a member of the HERACLIS Group, proceeded to donate hundreds of oikiaLAVA bags. It is an innovative substrate in a ready bag that facilitates the production of vegetables at home, without the use of fertilizers.
The common denominator of the actions of the HERAKLIS Group is the creation of sustainable development prospects with respect for the environment and local communities.
Through the donation of inert materials to the residents of the areas in Mati and N. Voutza, it became possible to improve their anti-flood protection, while through the donation of trees and plants, the aesthetic improvement of the daily life of the residents became possible.
The place of action includes the areas of Mati and N. Voutza.
The HERAKLIS Group donated plants and trees to residents and businesses in the areas with the help of the Residents' Coordinating Committee - Mati Attica and the Athletic Association N. Voutzas "PROODOS" .
The employees of the Group, in collaboration with the residents and many volunteers, proceeded to plant trees in selected places in Mati.
The HERACLES Group continues with continuity and consistency to put responsible entrepreneurship into practice. Through this donation, the HERACLIS Group contributed practically to the improvement of the conditions for the residents of the areas in Mati and N.
