The Short Drive with a particularly low price and with Buy The Mile technology was created for customers who drive fewer kilometers and which, with the use of telematics, encourages its customers to limit the use of the car thus contributing to the protection of the environment. 6 years after introducing this innovative “Short Drive” car insurance plan, Anytime is turning “Short Drive” into the first “green” car insurance plan! Through international standards, it undertakes on behalf of its customers to offset the carbon footprint emitted by their car in certified environmental projects, making their movement "climate neutral" for the duration of their insurance coverage, an innovation that helps the environment! With carbon offset, the reduction of carbon dioxide or greenhouse gas emissions from an activity or project that takes place in another area is achieved, with the aim of creating carbon offset credits and ultimately offsetting emissions and zeroing in the essence of the carbon footprint. In this specific energy we include direct greenhouse gas emissions (Category 1 – Scope 1) resulting from vehicles, as defined based on ISO 14064-1:2012 and the GHG Protocol.

The emissions of greenhouse gases in question are not emissions of the company but direct emissions of the insured vehicles. Thus, in the context of waste management, we offset the carbon footprint of vehicle energy consumption in an innovative way. By putting into practice the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13 regarding Climate Change, Anytime continues to lead the way by undertaking important initiatives that actively contribute to the effort to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 and lead to a sustainable future for all.
